Therapy at Studio Klys

A calm, therapeutic space to pause and talk things through

Sometimes life becomes difficult to hold on your own.

You might be feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, or worn down by ongoing pressure. You might be navigating a change, a loss, or a period of uncertainty. Or you might simply have a sense that something isn’t quite right, even if you can’t fully explain why.

Therapy at Studio Klys offers a calm space to slow down and speak honestly about what’s going on for you. There’s no expectation to arrive with clear answers or a specific goal. The work begins by meeting you where you are.

What therapy can be like

Therapy is a place to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at a pace that feels manageable. Some sessions may involve talking things through, others may focus more on noticing what’s happening in your body, or understanding patterns that have developed over time.

Many people who come to therapy are used to coping well on the outside, while holding a lot internally. Therapy offers a space where you don’t have to manage yourself, stay strong, or make sense of everything straight away.

There’s no pressure to fix or change anything quickly. The focus is on understanding, support, and building steadier ground over time.

Who therapy could support

You might be considering therapy because something in your life feels difficult to carry alone.

That might include:

  • anxiety, low mood or depression

  • feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or emotionally flat

  • struggles with self-worth or persistent self-criticism

  • relationship difficulties, including patterns that keep repeating

  • the impact of divorce, separation, or relational loss

  • living with ADHD and the challenges this can bring to focus, emotions, or daily life

Some people come to therapy because of past experiences, such as trauma or abuse. Others arrive during periods of change, when familiar ways of coping no longer feel supportive.

And sometimes, therapy isn’t about a problem at all. It’s about personal growth, wanting to understand yourself better, feel more at ease, or relate to yourself and others differently.

You don’t need to be in crisis and you don’t need to have the right words. Therapy can simply be a place to pause and explore what’s present for you right now.

Meet the Therapist

Hi, I’m Hayley, an Integrative Counsellor and Therapeutic Breathwork Practitioner.

I work in a way that is relational, collaborative and paced around you. There’s no pressure to perform, explain everything perfectly, or rush toward insight. Instead, I aim to offer a steady and supportive space where you can slow down and explore what’s happening beneath the surface in a way that feels safe and manageable.

My approach is person-centred and integrative, meaning I draw from different therapeutic approaches depending on what feels most supportive for you. This can include parts-based and IFS-informed work, somatic and trauma-aware approaches, inner child work, breathwork, visualisations or creative practices, alongside space to simply talk and reflect together.

Before becoming a counsellor I spent many years in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, which continues to shape how I work today. I understand what it’s like to appear to be coping on the outside whilst carrying a lot internally.

If you’ve been thinking about counselling, or feel you might need some support, you’re very welcome to reach out.
